OK, seriously... how beautiful is this meal?! I know bad pictures on my iPhone but you get the gist right? It is restaurant week here in Dallas and probably one of my favorite things about living here. You get to benefit the hungry and have an awesome excuse to try out some groovy restaurants at a totally affordable price!

Last night I went to Bolla at the Stoneleigh Hotel. It was super groovy decor where the dining area was sectioned out into little roos divided by sheer golden drapery. And the food was delicious. The best part is that I checked out their normal menu and a 3 course dinner is $45. great for a special night out and a mere $10 more than the special restaurant week price.

I dont remember what the apertif was... frozen melon with some sort of cheese underneath. then a fennel, tomato, citrus salad. For the entree, Halibut (my fave) with crusty corn on top garnished with mushrooms, and dessert... pannacotta with pineapple gellee (which was yummy but Lindsy's chocolate cake was the sure fire winner.)
