I have mentioned before about our dirt pit of a yard.... we need some help! I have been pulling inspiration pics for a while now. Of things we should llok for before we had a house and a few things afterward of stuff that I love.
Some of these yards have brilliant symmetry, and pretty clean lines. My favorite parts are the low matinence of these yards with gravel and agave plants.

This is a wonderful post! Definitely inspiring. I live in Lakewood and have been wanting to build a privacy fence for my backyard. Love the pictures you have chosen, especially the one with the stone table. I have found some really nice DIY books from Sunset magazine from the 1960's and 1970's. Check out ebay. Lots of great books there.
